Halloween

The pumpkin. Design selected by Aaron, drawn on the pumpkin by Thea, and carved by Hart. Aaron gutted the pumpkin.

Thea went as a mad scientist.

Aaron went as a mummy. He was thrilled to win two (!!!) trophies at school for his costume. Auntie Anne, thank-you so much for sending the box of costumes. Hugs and kisses to you.

Let's get a closer look at those trophies. Drats, he took the labels off them. He told me they were both for second place. One was for best costume and I forget what the other one was for. I wonder who one first place???

Wow, two trophies! That's fantastic. Thea's costume is terrific too, I love the glasses. I'd never recognise her!

Sorry to be so late in commenting hre. I loved both those costumes. The mad scientist looks like a cousin of Ian's Andy Warhol!

Happy New Year!!!

The best thing about 2009 was the arrival of Thea and Aaron's new cousin, Kalil. We got a new tree for Christtmas. Thea got a beautiful feather headband from Auntie Anne. I knit a bunch of hats this year - here's the one I made for Aaron. I also knit Aaron the Incognito tube.

Thea's Western Wall

Thea's Western Wall Originally uploaded by jrobertson@rogers.com Thea created this wonderful version of the Western Wall out of Sculpey for a recent Sunday School Project. It is not to scale but she wanted to represent the size of a person vs the size of the bricks used at the base of the wall.
