My creation

My creation Originally uploaded by jrobertson@rogers.com Okay Anne, Here's my creation. I didn't always pick the first photo that came up because sometimes it wasn't interesting. I did pick from the first page of picures though.

Camping and Flea Market Finds

I've neglected this blog most shamefully. We just got back from camping at the Pinery and it was wonderful. My pictures are up on Flickr. This is just a quick update as I MUST go wash the bathroom floors.. I wanted to show you some photos of a couple of things I picked up at the Flea Market. I don't know what possessed me. Here they are: The coffee pot was $6. It say Wm. Rogers. I thought it was a pretty good price. Have no idea what I'm going to do with it though. And the cream pitcher and sugar bowl came with on the little tray. A set for $12. They don't match though and the little tray is nothing special. I think the creamer is the best of the bunch - it also says Wm. Rogers. The suger bowl is not marked and is a different metal. If any of you, have any use for this stuff or know someone who would like it, just speak up.

Spring is Bursting out all over! And Thea's Birthday!

The crabapple tree in the front yard. The one time out of the year that the tree looks nice. The lilac bush in the back yard. We've had such a lovely cool spring that the lilacs have actually been in bloom for about a month! Yummmm - cupcake recipes! Thanks Auntie Anne! Ooooh and a beautiful apron! Here's Thea making one of the cupcake recipes! Notice how the cupcake cups are arranged. And here are the finished cupcakes. They were delicious! And here a couple of pictures of my friend Steve's amazing garden. I took these photos today (May 29). These are tree peonies!! Aren't they amazing. I've uploaded more photos of Steve's amazing garden on Flickr.

Hart's Sweater Completed!!

Remember that sweater I started back in December?? Here it is completed at last. Except for being blocked. It was ready for Valentine's Day. Here's my sweetie modelling it. I got a lot of work done on the sweater while out visiting my Mom and Dad. Here's my Dad looking pretty good after his surgery. And here's a photo of my lovely Mom... I also got a chance to visit with my brother. In Victoria, the grass is green and flowers are blooming... I wish I had a picture of what it's like here in Toronto but my camera has an E14 error at the moment.

Thea's Western Wall

Thea's Western Wall Originally uploaded by jrobertson@rogers.com Thea created this wonderful version of the Western Wall out of Sculpey for a recent Sunday School Project. It is not to scale but she wanted to represent the size of a person vs the size of the bricks used at the base of the wall.
